Pokémon Event (Code/WiFi) - Shiny Rayquaza (UK, Germany and North America)

Hey guys :)

Just an update of a new event at the moment to get your own shiny Rayquaza!

If you're in the UK, head to a Smyths Store between the 24th August and the 21st September 2015. If you're situated in Germany, go to a Müller Store between the 31st August and the 28th September 2015. You can ask to receive a special code that will allow you to obtain a shiny Rayquaza through Mystery Gift, which is accessible from the Main Menu when you first load up your game.

After loading up Mystery Gift, select Receive Gift, which should be the first option available, then select Yes to open the communication channel. From the next menu, go down to the last available option and select Get With Code. Make sure your DS has enough battery, then select Yes to continue. Select Yes again to connect to the Internet.

From here, Input the special code you got to receive your Rayquaza. After receiving it through Mystery Gift, make sure to go and pick it up from the delivery person at the nearest Pokémon Centre! The Rayquaza you receive should have a random nature and stats. If you want a particular nature, make sure to save before hand so you can reload and try again ;)

If you're in North America, you can also receive this shiny Rayquaza by connecting to Mystery Gift as well. From here, select Receive Gift, Yes to open the communication channel, then choose the option Get Via Internet. You will not need a code to obtain this Rayquaza. I think this is available until September 14th 2015, although I am not certain of that date.

The shiny Rayquaza you receive will be lv70 and holding the item Dragon Fang. It will have the OT Galileo and the Trainer ID will be 08055. It will come with the moveset: Dragon Claw, Extreme Speed, Dragon Dance and Dragon Ascent. This means it will be able to Mega Evolve.

Need Help Catching 'em all? :)

Hey guys!

Just a quick post... I'm now so close to completing my living pokédex and can now start with my goal of training 'em all... to lv100... (that's gonna take a lot of effort)! I've managed to obtain at least the first evolution for every single pokémon, and have every legendary and mythical pokémon! The only thing stopping me now is evolving most of them to their later forms.

Because of this, if any of you need any help with completing your own pokédex and need to obtain a specific pokémon, feel free to let me know and if I am able to breed or obtain the pokémon you need, I will be more than happy to trade with you :)

If you would like to trade, please let me know what pokémon you need and leave your 3DS Friend Code in the comments. I'll reply as soon as I can letting you know whether or not I can trade you that pokémon and if so, when I am available to trade.

Pokémon Event (WiFi) - Unova Starters

Hey guys :)

Just another update all about how to receive another current event going on.

Until the 30th November 2015, you have the opportunity to obtain the 3 fully evolved Unova starters with their Hidden Abilities!

These 3 Pokémon are available through Wifi on any of the Gen 6 Pokemon games (X/Y and ORAS). To get them, you will need to receive them one at a time through Mystery Gift, which is accessible from the Main Menu when you first load up your game.

After loading up Mystery Gift, select Receive Gift, which should be the first option available, then select Yes to open the communication channel. From the next menu, go down to the last available option and select Get With Code. Make sure your DS has enough battery, then select Yes to continue. Select Yes again to connect to the Internet.

From here, the code you use will depend on the Pokémon you want to receive. The start of the code will always be POKEMON, but the number afterwards will change based on the National Pokédex number of the pokémon you are trying to obtain. You can repeat the previous steps again to enter all the codes and get all 3 starters on your game.

To receive Serperior, Input the Code POKEMON497

To receive Emboar, Input the Code POKEMON500

To receive Samurott, Input the Code POKEMON503

You can do this on any of your Gen 6 games, so if you have more than one game, you can do this on each of them and receive more than one of each pokémon!

After receiving your pokémon through Mystery Gift, make sure to go and pick them up from the delivery person at the nearest Pokémon Centre! Congratulations! You now have your fully evolved Unova starter pokémon, each at lv50 and with their Hidden Abilities! :)

Pokémon Event (Pokémon bank) - Johto Starters

Hi everyone :)

Just a quick update to let you all know about a current event that's been going for a while now.

Until the 30th November 2015, you should be able to pick up the 3 fully evolved Johto starters with their Hidden Abilities!

To obtain these event starters, you need to have a Pokémon Bank account. If you don't have Pokémon Bank, you can download this from the eShop for £4.49/$4.99USD for a year's access, which allows you to store and transfer Pokémon between any Generation 6 games you own (so far including X/Y and ORAS, as well as any future games that will come out). It can also allow you to transfer pokémon from previous Gen 5 game titles (B/W/B2/W2) to your Gen 6 games with the free add on, PokéTransporter.

If/Once you have a Pokémon Bank account, then the next time you access it, you will automatically receive Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr, each at lv50 and with their Hidden Abilities.
