Pokémon X and Y Walkthrough - Part 4 (A Stroll through Santalune Forest)

As you enter Santalune Forest you'll be stopped by Shauna who has managed to catch up with you. She suggests teaming up and heading through the forest together. She will even heal up your injured Pokémon if you ask her! As you travel through Santalune Forest there will be any items to find so keep a sharp lookout! You should find the first item just to the east of the tree you're in front of.

Before heading off in that direction, however, head on over the opposite way as there are 2 items you can pick up. The first is directly ahead of you to the left, just inside the patch of grass. For the second item, carry on following the path upwards and the item will also be on the left, surrounded by a bit of grass.

There are some new Pokémon for you to find here in Santalune Forest, as well as some we already met on Route 2. If you missed any you wanted to catch, you might find them here, or if not, it's okay, as you can go back to Route 2 anytime you like to find them!

Caterpie
Fletchling

Weedle

Metapod

Scatterbug

Kakuna

Pikachu
Pansage

Panpour

Pansear
(If you find a Pikachu, you'll get a nice surprise when you hear that, unlike the other Pokémon, Pikachu will actually say it's name!)

Head back on towards the entrance and this time head east to make your way through the forest. You'll probably see your other friends exploring around you as well. At one point, Shauna will stop you and hand you a Paralyse Heal that she found in the grass. how nice of her! Just ahead from there you will find Youngster Joey (unfortunately without his Rattata this time) that you can battle. If you want to avoid the battle, just follow the path to go around him, but the experience will probably be helpful. Joey will 2 Pokémon with him, a lvl 3 Scatterbug, and a lvl 3 Fletchling. After the battle, head on past and down through the tall grass.

After a few windy turns through the forest, you will run into Lass Anna, who will have a lvl 5 Pikachu for you to battle. It may be best to make sure you have no water types at the front of your party who may take a lot of damage from Pikachu's Thunder Shock.

As you head down after defeating Anna, the path will split again. If you head right, you will have to battle Lass Lise, who has a lvl 2 Weedle, and a lvl 3 Bunnelby, and they'll be an item to pick up at the end of the path. Afterwards, head back to the main path and you'll find another item in the left corner of the grass, which you'll pass as you make your way to the exit.

As you approach the exit, your friends will all catch up to you, and you'll all make your way together onward to Route 3, also known as Ouvert Way.
